We match liner thickness to how your Ralph, AL space is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all default.
Ralph, AL crawl spaces and basements see different levels of ground moisture depending on soil type and grading, which is part of why we size liner thickness to the specific space instead of defaulting to the same product every time.
We follow manufacturer overlap and seam-sealing specifications on every install, not shortcuts that look fine until moisture finds the gaps.
Standard-size crawl spaces and basements can frequently be completed in a single visit.
Pricing is based on your space's actual square footage and liner thickness selected, quoted in writing before installation.
We recommend liner thickness based on foot traffic, storage use, and moisture severity, not just selling the thickest option by default.
Every Ralph, AL Vapor Barrier Installation job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
Heavy-gauge liner is installed across the entire crawl space floor and up the foundation walls, sealed at every seam to block ground moisture transmission.
This is often done in coordination with a flooring contractor's timeline, and we can work around scheduled installation dates.
We use pier boots designed specifically for this purpose rather than improvised wrapping that fails within a year or two.
We inspect the full liner before recommending repair versus replacement so you're not paying for a full redo unnecessarily.
We dispose of old material and debris as part of the job, leaving the space ready for the new barrier.
Tell us the square footage, whether it's a crawl space or basement, and how the space is used so we can recommend the right thickness.
A technician measures the space, checks existing ground cover condition if any, and counts piers or posts that will need wrapping.
We explain why a given thickness fits your space's usage rather than defaulting to the most expensive liner.
We walk the finished installation with you to confirm seams are properly sealed before calling the job complete.
